At around 11:00 on Friday (21 September) a VW polo collided with the rear end of a flat-bed delivery van on the R24 just before Edenvale offramp. Terence Teixeira from the Matrix Road Safety Association arrived on the scene and reports that allegedly a truck had come to a stop in-front of the delivery vehicle. The delivery vehicle then slowed or turned out the lane and the VW collided with the rear of the delivery vehicle. “Fortunately no serious injuries were sustained. The driver and passenger of the delivery vehicle were treated for light injuries. The Matrix Road Safety Association response vehicle arrived on scene and the Emer-G-Med medic assessed and treated the injured. Two lanes of the highway were closed off for scene safety,” he reports
