Today (13 July) at approximately 11:30 it is suspected that the driver of a Hyundai 1 tonner carrying building material lost control of his vehicle on Malibongwe drive in North Riding, veering across the centre island and colliding head on with a VW Golf. The Golf then rolled down the embankment alongside the road.
“Five people were injured in the collision, three in a serious but stable condition and two patients with moderate injuries,” reports Terence Teixeira from the Matrix Road Safety Association.
The Matrix Road Safety Association vehicle arrived on scene to find Emer-G-Med along with other emergency services on scene treating and transporting the injured.
