On 8 October 2012 at 12:16 pm on the N3 South, just before the Van Buuren exit, there was an accident involving two motor vehicles and two trucks.
Terence Teixeira from the Matrix Road Safety Association arrived on the scene, and reported that the cause of the accident is currently under investigation. There were two moderately injured patients who were assessed by Matrix Road Safety Association and then transported to Rose Acres Hospital.
