Matrix brings a Spring into the step of Herfsland Home

Matrix Vehicle Tracking has stepped up this Spring to assist the Herfsland Home for the Aged  by donating 185 polar fleece sweaters to assist those in need through the last of the winter chill.

“Herfsland Home takes care of the veterans that have shaped and moulded our country into what it is today. To provide services like home-based care and affordable housing for the elderly in the community is no easy task,” says Brendan Horan, Sales and Marketing General Manager, MiX Telematics, The sweaters will be handed out as part of the homes’ outreach program that targets Tembisa and Kempton Park. “Through this donation, Matrix hopes to lighten the load on Herfsland in the new season,” says Horan.

Speaking of the new season, Horan says Spring marks the time for the release of South Africa’s annual crime statistics. “While we all eagerly await the latest on crime statistics, I think it is important to be reminded that having a vehicle tracking device helps lower vehicle insurance premiums and saves lives. To avoid becoming a statistic this season, I strongly suggest that you consider a vehicle tracking unit. If you are already a Matrix customer, please use this Spring time to refresh your details if they have changed recently and to test your tracking device. Let’s make this Spring an incident-free one together,” he concludes.
