These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) relate to the “Matrix Six – Catch & Win” Competition.
The following expressions shall bear the following meanings and related expressions bear corresponding meanings
* “Competition” shall mean the “#“MatrixSix – Catch & Win ” Competition at the specified matches of the bizhub Highveld Lions;
* “Participant” shall mean any South African citizen over the age of 18 years, who enters to win this Competition;
* “Promoter” shall mean MiX Telematics Africa Pty (Ltd) of Howick Close, Waterfall Park, Midrand, Johannesburg, South Africa;
* “Competition Period” shall mean 10 October 2015 to 5 February 2016 at pre-specified One Day matches only.
* “Prize” shall mean R20 000 (Twenty Thousand Rand)
* “Winning Catch” shall mean a catch which qualifies to win the Competition as described in paragraph 4 below.
*”Matrix Six: shall mean the specially arranged delivery of the Matrix Six ball to the delegated Matrix Six batsman to take place during the changeover on pre-specified match days
2 HOW TO ENTER
Catch the Matrix Six ball during the Matrix Six delivery at team change over during one of the pre-specified matches.
3 PRIZE
* R20 000 (Twenty Thousand Rand) for the person(s) who catches a six with one hand in accordance with these T&C’s.
4 THE WINNING CATCH
To qualify for the Prize, the following criteria will apply to a Winning Catch –
* (a) It must be a clean, one-handed catch off a ‘six’ hit during the Matrix Six delivery at team change over during one of the pre-specified matches taking place during the Competition Period (juggling the ball between hands will not be accepted as a clean catch); and
* (b) the catch must be captured and clearly visible on stadium video or TV camera/broadcast as it will be audited.
For the avoidance of doubt, a clean catch is one where the ball does not make contact with anything after leaving the bat until caught one handed by the Participant after being struck out of the field of play.
Either hand can be used to make a clean catch.
No gloves, whether sporting gloves (e.g. cricket wicket keeping gloves, baseball mitts, hockey gloves, etc.) or any other form of glove; or any other form of artificial assistance may be used to catch the ball with. The ball may only be caught with a “clean” hand.
No Prize will be awarded unless or until verification of the Winning Catch is made by the Promoter and the Promoter is satisfied, in its absolute discretion, that the criteria for a Winning Catch and the Competition’s T&C’s have been met.
In verifying the Winning Catch, Auditors will review the coverage of the catch made on stadium video or TV camera/broadcast.
The Promoter’s decision is final. Any alleged Winning Catch not captured on a camera and therefore not able to be reviewed by the Promoter will be deemed a non-eligible catch.
5 MATCHES
The Matrix Six will be run during the changeover at the following matches only:

The above match schedule and individual match conditions, durations, dates and venues may be subject to change from time to time. Any changes made to the schedule are outside of the Promoter’s control.
Participants will be solely responsible for ensuring that they keep up to date of all such changes.
The Promoter will not be liable to any person as a result of any such changes.
6 PROMOTIONAL PRIZE
The award of the Prize is subject to the following terms and conditions:
* A participant who successfully completes a Winning Catch in accordance with the Competition’s T&C’s will be entitled to receive the Prize or a portion thereof;
* The Prize will be a maximum of R20 000 (Twenty Thousand rand) or a portion thereof in the event of more than one Participant/s successfully completing a Winning Catch in accordance with these T&C’s;
* The Prize will be paid by means of electronic funds transfer into the winner’s nominated South African bank account on a date to be advised by the Promoter;
* No person under 18 years of age is eligible to enter the Competition or receive the Prize;
* It is the Prize winner’s responsibility to ensure that the correct name, address and bank account details are provided to the Promoter;
* The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any prize/s deposited into the wrong or incorrect bank account;
* The Promoter reserves the right to conduct a security verification check at its absolute discretion;
* A Prize winner may be required to sign a declaration confirming his or her eligibility to accept the Prize; and
* The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of identity and proof of residency from any Prize winner. Proof of identity includes but is not limited to a valid driver’s licence, identity document, passport and/or bank account details.
7 GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
* To participate in and/or claim a Prize in the Competition, Participants must be South African Citizens aged 18 years or over. Entry into the Competition is deemed to be acceptance of these T&C’s by the Participant/s.
* Should there be a dispute, a Participant is entitled to make representations in writing to the Promoter during the Competition Period. The Promoter shall consider such representations and notify the Participant in writing as to the decision taken in respect of the dispute, then the Promoter’s decision in this regard shall be final and binding. No reasons shall be required in respect of such decision and no further correspondence will be entered into.
* The Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to change the T&C’s without prior notice and at its discretion or extend, postpone or discontinue the Competition at any time.
* The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw this Competition without notice in the event of force majeure. For the purposes of these T&C’s an event of force majeure shall include any event beyond the reasonable control of a party, such as war, earthquakes, disasters, calamities, strikes or similar circumstances (including the threat thereof).
* The Promoter may refuse to award a prize to any Participant if, in the Promoter’s sole opinion, that Participant has violated the T&C’s or has gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Competition.
* The Prize is non-transferable.
* All Participants enter and participate in this Competition at their own risk. The Promoter will not be liable for any damage or injury whatsoever incurred by any Participant when participating in the Competition (including but not limited to any indirect or consequential loss).
* All Prizes are received entirely at the Prize winner’s own risk.
* Prize winners indemnify the Promoter against any liability for accident or loss of life, personal injury, property damage or other loss, cost or expense arising from any claim by any third party in connection with their participation in the Competition.
* Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from the Prize winnings and the liability for such tax as well as any independent tax and financial advice that a winning Participant may seek shall be at his/her cost and account.
* These T&C’s are subject to all applicable venue and licensing laws and regulations.
* These T&C’s will be made available on the Promoter’s website at http://www.matrix.co.za during the Competition Period.
* By reading and accepting these terms and conditions, the Participant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the Promoter; their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the Competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of any indemnified party.
* The Promoter;; Cricket South Africa, South African Cricket Unions/ Franchises; the Event Broadcaster; their directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants, the suppliers of goods or services in connection with this l Competition, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the above named parties and their respective spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members are not permitted to participate in this Competition.
8 PROMOTIONS AND USE OF INFORMATION
By participating in the Competition, Participants consent to:
* the use of their name, photograph and TV footage for any promotional purposes carried out by the Promoter;
* attending prize giving and other promotions in the Promoters Brand / Clothing.
Participants in the Competition agree that the Promoter may retain the Participant/s personal information in order to conduct and administer the Promotions and for future promotions carried out by the Promoter.
